CORN BRAN
Corn bran is a by-product that emerges in the corn processing industry, particularly in production processes such as starch and ethanol.
Although corn bran is generally seen as the outer layer of the corn kernel, i.e., the hull part, when considered as animal feed, it can contain varying proportions of corn endosperm and corn germ depending on the production process.
Corn bran can be coarse or fine.
Corn bran, considered a feed ingredient rich in protein, holds great importance in the feeding of cattle (especially dairy and beef cattle), small ruminants, and poultry.
